The Municipal Board of Llano de Brujas has unanimously approved, during the completion of a regular meeting, urge the City of Murcia to begin the formalities for the declaration of their carnival festivities of Regional Tourist Interest.
The carnival of Llano de Brujas is one of the oldest in the municipality of Murcia and the first to be LGTBIfriendly of Spain.
The pedestrian mayor, Jesús Zapata, has emphasized the success he is having and the recognition he has throughout the Region of Murcia, thanking the organizing association for the work he is doing and the visibility they are giving to the hamlet , For that reason the Municipal Board will work to obtain this distinction.
For his part, the socialist spokesman, Juan Jimenez, has described the carnival of preciousness, reiterating gratitude to the organization of the same, wishing the good end of this request.
In social networks have launched the hashtag #ITRCarnavalSalar and the publication of a poster to promote support for such distinction.
