The municipal company supports initiatives aimed at vulnerable groups through the figure of Teaming (grouped micro-donations) Members of the team of Aguas de Murcia who participate in the Teaming program, have decided to choose ASTRAPACE (Association for the Treatment of Persons with Cerebral Palsy And Related Pathologies) as beneficiary of their contributions during the year 2016.
The amount raised amounts to 4,023 euros, of which 1,341 euros - a third - comes directly from the voluntary contributions of the staff;
The company, for its part, joins the initiative by doubling the amount.
The ceremony was held this morning at the association's headquarters in Murcia with the attendance of, among others, José Albaladejo, Water Manager of Murcia, Rosa García Iniesta, President of Astrapace and Roberto Lavella, representative of the group of employees who Participates in the initiative.
TEAMING is a solidarity action that consists of micro-donations, whose basic principle is that of "the union makes the force".
The contribution of Aguas de Murcia will boost the work of ASTRAPACE, improving the quality of life of people with cerebral palsy and related diseases and their families, enhancing the full development of their capacities and having as a priority the inclusion as full citizens in a Society more just and supportive.
