They ask the plenary to stand against the provision of the PGE that makes difficult the remunicipalización of services (15/05/2017)

Let us change Murcia and the non-attached councilman, Luis Bermejo, have submitted motions with content similar to this month's Plenary to ask the Plenary to urge the Central Government and the Congress of Deputies to delete the additional provision 27 of the General Budgets of the State (PGE) for this year, considering that it makes it difficult for municipal and regional administrations to subrogate workers by public utility companies.

The aforementioned provision, which refers to the limitation of the incorporation of labor personnel into the public sector, means "a direct attack" on the processes of reversion to the direct public management of municipal services and works that are currently managed by Companies and private entities through contracts, since they can not incorporate the workers.

In addition, it "contradicts one of the supposed pillars of the Law of Sustainability," which is efficiency in the provision of public services, "noting that indirect and private management of these presents numerous drawbacks", such as higher project costs As opposed to conventional alternatives or the absence of real transfer of risk to contractors because in case of bankruptcy the costs of the rescue fall on the Administration, among others.

For both councilors, the direct management of public services is not only a viable and politically viable political option, but also more efficient and guarantor than indirect management in relation to the fulfillment of the rights of the Workers and the users of those services themselves.
