The Council of Social Rights has approved the project of activities of the Municipal Day Stays of Barriomar, Beniaján and Cabezo de Torres, as a means to favor the leisure-cultural and recreational experiences of the hundred of users of these equipment.
Some of the programmed activities, for which 22,158 euros are allocated, will be launched during both the Cultural Week and throughout the year, including theater, workshops or cultural visits.
The Municipal Day Care Centers, which are part of the Department of Social Rights, are equipments through which personal care and social-health care services are provided to elderly people affected by different degrees of dependency and with a limitation of personal autonomy.
For this reason, they are a valuable resource of family support since it offers an integral attention to the personal needs of the beneficiaries during the day, thus favoring the permanence in their habitual environments of coexistence.
