78 students in the employment and training programs receive their diplomas (12/05/2017)

The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, attended this morning the delivery of diplomas of the students of the Mixed Programs of Employment-Training whose objective is to offer employment pathways to unemployed through their professional qualification in alternation with Work.

On the one hand, the PMEF-JV Aulario FICA I is a project promoted by the City of Murcia and subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service which has had a total budget of 834,690.80 euros.

The project, which began on May 13 last year and which involved 40 people with a mean age of 21.41 years, has had a formative stage of 3 months and the stage of training in alternation with The professional practice of 9 months of duration, being hired the student-workers from the beginning of this second phase, with a training and learning contract for which they receive 75% of the minimum wage interprofessional.

The training activities included are those related to the following 5 specialties:

- Masonry factories

- Assembly and maintenance of low voltage electrical installations.

- Operations of plumbing and heating-domestic air conditioning.

- Auxiliary operations of continuous coatings under construction.

- Carpentry and furniture work

In addition, complementary training modules such as Computer Literacy, Occupational Risk Prevention, Social Economy and Self-Employment, Job Search and Improvement Resources, as well as Prevention of Environmental Awareness have been given.

As regards the objectives of action contemplated in the Project is the rehabilitation of the CFIE-El Palmar Northeast Pavilion, the facade of the CFIE-El Palmar Northeast Pavilion and maintenance of electrical, photovoltaic, plumbing, fire, water Hot water and air conditioning and carpentry and furniture in municipal buildings

As for the results of insertion and although the program has not yet finished, it should be noted that a total of 6 student-workers have left the program before finishing, by job insertion.

Joint Program of Employment-Training for the Elderly (PMEF-MY) "Palmar Gastro-Tourism III"

As regards the Joint Employment-Training Program for Seniors (PMEF-MY) "Palmar Gastro-Tourism III", is a project promoted by the City of Murcia and also subsidized by the Regional Employment and Training Service that began on 13 May 2016.

The training period has been extended for 3 months and the training period in alternation with the professional practice has counted on 9 months of duration, being contracted the student-workers since the beginning of the project, with a contract for the training and learning by Who receive 100% of the interprofessional minimum wage.

This project, which has involved 38 students, seeks to qualify unemployed people in trades in the hospitality sector, as the current emerging path of employment and economic development with three specialties: Kitchen, Bar-Cafeteria and Pastry-Confectionery.

Among the activities carried out by the students is the daily elaboration of 65 menus for the dinners of the users of The Patronage Foundation of Jesus Abandoned, the preparation of buffets in the Center of Municipal Initiatives of Murcia with 'The Lunches of Commerce', the workshops Of Christmas sweets in the Circular Square, a circular square where the Christmas tree was installed, the catering service at the Energy Efficiency Days, the V Solidarity Days of Astrapace and the Days of Social Inclusion at the Teatro Circo and Romea.

There have also been various didactic visits, and collaborations such as Gastronomic of San Sebastian 2017, and Gastronomic of Murcia where he actively collaborated.

The PEMF-MY "Palmar Gastro-Tourism III" has had a budget of 957,344.10 euros.
