The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, José Guillén, attended this afternoon to the initial training session for the implementation of the ProMurcia IT application tests for the management of budgets of suppliers for minor expenses of The Municipal Boards.
In the meeting held with the Mayor and representatives of the municipal groups to present the project, it was requested that each municipal group appointed two or three presidents of Municipal Boards that could be the first testers of the application.
The Municipal Boards that have attended these meetings and which have been selected by the representatives of the municipal political groups are Los Garres, El Puntal, Los Dolores, Santo Ángel, Nonduermas, San Ginés, Sangonera la Seca, Llano de Brujas and Sangonera la Green.
In addition, presidents have participated the administrators to which these Municipal Boards correspond and personnel of the area of ​​Decentralization.
ProMurcia, adaptation of the Clara application of the University of Murcia, is a system for the management of the works, services and minor supplies of the Municipal Councils of the City that will facilitate the processing and adjudication of applications according to the principles of publicity, Concurrence and transparency.
ProMurcia is the result of the agreement of technological collaboration between the City of Murcia and the University of Murcia, through the adaptation and evolution of Clara, the system of minor purchases of the university.
In the application the president of the Municipal Board makes the request and the companies are notified prior to registration, access the information and make and manage their offers.
Subsequently, the Municipal Board performs the assessment of applications and the award and companies can access all information in a transparent way.
For the definitive implementation of ProMurcia will be necessary a period of tests, that now begins and that will extend during 3 months in this limited number of Municipal Boards.
In addition, the providers will already have the application and the web access to present their offers and the meetings of the initial web access.
At the beginning of September the launch will be made with full functionality and its publication in the transparency portal
