The PSOE claims to the PP the same agility to inform of the transfer of the Museum of the Railroad to the building of Emuasa than to take photos (09/05/2017)

The Municipal Socialist Group has demanded the Government team, the PP, more speed and effectiveness in providing solutions and, above all, to comply with the agreements of the Plenary.

Therefore, Councilor Begoña García Retegui states that "if you were in such a hurry to prepare the legal reports on the transfer of the Railway Museum to the Emuasa building and to take photos, the funds of this Museum would be ready to be visited" .

In this sense, Garcia Retegui recalls that in March he received a communication from the Councilor for Employment, Culture and Tourism in which he reported that a legal report was being made on the feasibility of definitively placing the Railway Museum in the current Emuasa facilities, such And as was agreed in the Plenary of October 2016. However, "we have not heard again, we do not know whether because the aforementioned councilor does not give us the conclusions or because the report needs several months to elaborate" .

In addition, he adds that "there are matters that require extreme urgency and that of the Railway Museum is an example, since the current facilities, in the Carmen Station, do not meet the conditions neither to expose the amount of funds nor to be visited and , While we wait for a solution, that heritage is precarious. "

He also states that "they can not be abandoned to their fate or inertia very important funds. In fact, every day that passes increases the risk of losing a collection that could place Murcia as the headquarters of one of the main museums of Railroad of Spain ".
