The Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation will execute two projects that will allow to continue improving the green areas of the municipality.
This has been done will be carried out a project to install a children's playground on Calle Calvario de Espinardo and the awarding of works to renovate the garden of the Avenida Juventud de Cabezo de Torres.
The performance to be carried out in the Garden of the street Calvario de Espinardo will allow play spaces for children of all ages and generate spaces for integration for children with reduced mobility.
Also pergolas of cover will be installed to minimize the effects of the sun and the area will be fence and will cover with rubber pavement, improving the adornment and the safety of the playground.
The new area will occupy an area of ​​420 square meters which will accommodate games for all ages, with integration elements for children with reduced mobility, baby and adapted rocker, and sound and visual sensory stimulation elements such as timpani, Trampoline or telephones, as well as those installed in the Silk Garden.
As for the garden project of the Avenida Juventud de Cabezo de Torres, which has been prepared by the Municipal Board and the Department of Sports and Health and processed by the Department of Modernization, will allow to run a large platform of 1,265 square meters of concrete that Will serve as a basis for the Sports Service to subsequently install a skatepark.
In addition, this garden will be provided with a new children's play area fenced and padded in order to offer recreational spaces for children of all ages and generate integration zones for children with reduced mobility.
The action includes the installation of new lighting and the landscaping of several slopes and flower beds with the prairie plantation and of diverse tapizantes that will have a new network of irrigation by dripping and sprinkling
New access to the garden will also be created, taking advantage of existing ones and granting them a corresponding treatment.
The City Council, through the Municipal Board, will invest in these works, which have a term of execution of 4 months, 84,334 euros.
