The Government Board has given the green light to the project for the contracting of the works to create a new garden, thus remedying the project of completion of the urbanization works of the Partial Plan City Equipments number 4, polygon II of Murcia.
In this way, the Department of Development, at the proposal of the Department of Modernization of Administration, Urban Quality and Participation, will create this new green area, about 10,000 square meters, next to the commercial area of ​​Media Markt, which will be delimited By the avenue Lope de Vega, the avenue of The Dolores and the City of the Justice.
The new garden will have a large central area with cobblestone pavement with trees and urban furniture.
In addition, two zones will be created in the southern part of pavement of albero with recreation zone, and another one in the north area with pavement in which a kiosk will be installed.
Among the tree species to be planted are jacarandas, palm trees, pines, rose bushes and shrubs of different varieties, among others.
The City Council will use the guarantees deposited by the promoters of the urbanization - a maximum of 525,106 euros - to execute these works in approximately 6 months.
