Micol points out that the visit of Now Murcia to this ditch took place after the warnings received from neighbors of the districts where the works of the Reguerón motorway are being carried out as well as the arrival of the AVE to Murcia, with the presence of vats that carry out Several water withdrawals per day.

The mayor recalls that "water from the traditional channels of the orchard of Murcia, managed by the Junta de Hacendados, can only be used for agricultural purposes, so that its destination to other uses, such as works in infrastructure, is prohibited" and Underscores that a similar complaint by Now Murcia regarding the extraction of water in the Azucar from the Malecón is still pending for its use, allegedly in the works of the AVE of the Tiñosa bridge.

If confirmed these facts "we would be talking about a crime of public water detraction," says Angeles Micol.

"It is necessary to justify where the water is coming from these works, since we are talking about thousands of cubic meters and its origin is not clear," concludes Micol.
