300 artists participate today in the 9th Conference on social inclusion and education in the performing arts (04/05/2017)

The Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz, this morning inaugurated the IX Conference on social inclusion and education in the performing arts that are held for the first time in the city of Murcia and co-organized by the City Council together with the Institute National of the Performing Arts and of the Music, dependent of the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

"After Madrid, Barcelona, ​​Seville, Pamplona and La Coruña, the municipality takes the witness with enthusiasm and responsibility so that within a few years Murcia can re-celebrate a conference like these that we inaugurate today," said Conchita Ruiz during his speech.

During these days the participants will be able to enjoy spaces such as the Theater and the Romea Theater, in addition to the Pupaclown Scenic Center or the Superior School of Dramatic Art in the capital.

All of them are nationally renowned for their quality, and they have become scenarios for the different scenic and musical activities, talks or workshops that are going to take place.

A conference that seeks to promote the full inclusion of people with different capacities and relying on art and its many benefits to achieve it.

In order to do this, the participating associations call for a claim to difference as a cultural richness and support us in music, theater or dance, as one of the objectives of this Conference says, to sensitize and engage creators, communities, managers Or companies to collaborate and involve people at risk of exclusion.

The program highlights the conferences and workshops of both national and international artists, who want to share their work and how to reach the public with attendees to the Conference.

Between the arrivals to Murcia Claire Teasdale and Jamie Beddard, from United Kingdom, Ophélie Mercier, from France or Alberto Sava, from Argentina.

In addition the Teatro Circo will host tonight the show "MUR", directed by Nacho Flores, and after which there will be a meeting of the artistic team with the audience.
