Twelve neighborhoods and districts will open new name for 29 streets and gardens (03/05/2017)

The Commission of Streets, chaired by the Councilor for Trade, Organization and Institutional Relations, Maruja Pelegrín, has studied at its meeting this morning the denomination of 29 streets, squares and gardens belonging to 12 neighborhoods and districts, whose proposals come from the own Municipal councils.

Thus, El Carmen will have Asunción Balaguer Street and Serafín Alonso Journalist;

Espinardo, with the Calle de la Mujer;

In La Alberca there will be one Calle Agustín García Solano and another José Luis Pérez Palazón;

Algezares will have a Carril Belando and Barqueros a Francisco Legaz Montalbán Street.

The new denominations of Cabezo de Torres are for three parks: Sculptor Antonio Carrión Valverde, Maestro Sebastián Reverte Pastor and Pedáneo Antonio Zomeño Valverde.

The names proposed in Los Dolores and El Puntal are Carril Jesualdo Pérez, in the first, and Plaza Pintor Luis Pérez Espinosa and Carril de los Garcías in the second.

The Municipal Board of Santiago and Zaraíche is the one that most requests have moved, and all of them to approve the denomination of gardens.

Specifically, with the names of Spanish Association Against Cancer, Pedàneos de Santiago and Zaraíche, Matronas, Acequia de Zaraíche, Caliche, Boles de Lezo, Real Murcia CF, UCAM Murcia CB, El Pozo FS and Working Women .

In these cases, it has been approved with the abstention of Cambiemos and Now Murcia in the case of the Garden UCAM Murcia CB;

And Now Murcia also in those dedicated to Real Murcia CF and El Pozo FS.

In addition, it proposes to change the denomination of Cl. Professor Jesús Neira by Street Institución Libre de Enseñanza.

In Zarandona, in addition to Eugenio Martínez Hernández Street, the modifications affect Calle del Mercado, which will be renamed Calle José Hernández Sánchez, and Carril de las Palmeras, which will be Calle Historia de España.

The list of new denominations concludes with the sports pavilions of San Ginés and San José de la Vega, which will be known as Eduardo Toribio Lancís and Juan Martínez Marín respectively.
