The City Council will plant more than a hundred trees in the neighborhood of Santa Eulalia thanks to the project 'Urban DNA' (02/05/2017)

The Councilor for Modernization of Administration, Participation and Urban Quality, José Guillén, held this morning a meeting with neighbors of the neighborhood of Santa Eulalia in order to expose and agree on different actions related to parks and gardens and urban quality that will lead to Thanks to the ADN Urbano project.

Thus, Guillén has announced that more than a hundred trees will be planted during the last week of May within the different municipal interventions that will be carried out in the neighborhood.

In addition, and to emphasize that there was the synagogue of the city, olive trees will be planted in the Plaza de Sardoy, a species that represents the Jewish culture.

Likewise, the councilman explained that a children's area will be installed in the Plaza de Europa, much demanded by the neighbors, that awnings will be placed to shade the Plaza de Cristo del Resucitado and that the whole neighborhood will be provided with more Stay with the placement of benches.

It should be remembered that the new model of intervention in neighborhoods of the Government Team led by Mayor José Ballesta 'Murcia ADN-Urbano' is going to apply, for the first time, in Santa Eulalia.

This pilot project, which the City Council will extend in successive phases to other districts and districts, will cover a geographical area of ​​190,000 square meters, extending not only by the neighborhood of Santa Eulalia, but also by San Juan and San Lorenzo.
