The councilor of Cambiemos Murcia, Margarita Guerrero, today denounced the "worrying paralysis" of the Youth Commission, in charge of developing the Municipal Youth Plan, which the Government team has not convened for about six months. Commission was created following the approval, in 2015, of a motion of Cambiemos Murcia for the drafting of said Plan.
Today, in the mid-term, the municipality "continues without a Youth Plan" to articulate policies in this area, which shows that "for the PP the youth group is not a priority."
The mayor has lamented that the actions of the council of the branch "do not respond to planning that emanates the needs of young people, but are not improvised activities with the sole objective of getting the photo." The municipality, with 49,031 Young people between the ages of 16 and 25, is among the autonomous community capitals with the highest percentage of youths, which, according to Guerrero, must be "a commitment to the public policies of youth that respond to their emancipation."
