The city of Murcia will host on Sunday April 30 the Solidarity Race Run For Parkinsons, in its eighth edition, and the first Canicross.
This was highlighted by the Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz, on the occasion of the commemoration of World Parkinson's Day, in whose acts the City of Murcia collaborated, participating in the activities programmed in the avenue of La Libertad of Murcia by FEPAMUR, Federation of People with Parkinson's of the Region of Murcia.
The Federation, together with the Association Murciana Parkinson On-Off, has set up an information desk to give information, guidance and advice to people suffering from this disease, relatives and collaborators, with the aim of improving the quality of life for all those affected.
Conchita Ruiz Caballero highlighted the important work that these entities perform with affected citizens and their families, "to which we seek to provide them with all the resources to live the disease as best as possible."
In addition, since the beginning of the year, both FEPAMUR and Parkinson On-Off have a local loan provided by the City of Murcia in La Albatía to serve its users and provide them with social care, family respite and leisure activities.
