Llano de Brujas Municipal Board welcomes the coexistence of candidates for the Queen of the garden 2017 (25/02/2017)

Jesús Zapata, mayor pedáneo of the Popular Group, has reported that "it is a very nice way to keep alive our traditions and our cultural heritage"

During the day will be held in the hamlet of Llano de Brujas, led by the Popular Group, a day of coexistence to choose the Queen of the children's garden.

In this day 28 candidates are meeting to choose the one who will be the representative of Murcia for these Spring Festival 2017. This day has been organized by the Municipal Board and will have the visit of the councilors of Youth, Rebeca Perez, and Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco.

This event will begin at 9.30 hours, when the limestone hut of El Limonar will receive the small candidates to queen of the orchard.

After this will be organized a breakfast to begin the parade by the market of the hamlet.

This parade will be led by a batukada that will open the way for the girls who will meet later with the huertana rock La Carreta.

Also on this day will visit the most representative factories and companies of Llano de Brujas as the nuts 'El Llano' and the largest embroidery factory in Spain, 'Juan Navarro embroideries' who make 2,000 embroidery an hour.

The development of this day will continue with two floral offerings, one to the Virgin of the Tears of the parish of the parish and another to the hermitage of San Felix located in Los Cabecicos.

The food will be celebrated in the restaurant 'Orenes', where the candidates for children's nursery queens will conduct interviews and parades.

At all times, the children's queens will be accompanied by the pedestrian mayor of the Popular Group, Jesus Zapata, and by the jury in charge of choosing the 2017 children's queen who will value all the skills of the small.

Zapata has stated that "it is a pride to welcome this coexistence, it is a very beautiful day because it takes us to our roots. A very pleasant and dynamic way of keeping alive our cultural heritage and highlighting our more horticultural traditions."
