Among the motions that the PSOE has defended along with other groups that have prospered are the one that urges the Regional Assembly to support the legislative reform that would allow the Transparency Council to have powers over local entities and the urgent convocation of the Council Of Administration of Emuasa to study the internalization of outsourced services

The Municipal Socialist Group has managed to get three of the six motions that it presented alone and three of the four initiatives that it defended along with other political groups.

Among the motions presented alone and approved are the initiative for the City of Murcia to comply with the Public Sector Contracts Act and reserve municipal contracts for special employment centers and labor insertion companies.

"If for the majority of citizens today it is difficult to find a job, people with disabilities and problems of inclusion have, if possible, greater problems to access a job, so we believe that this motion was necessary, as it is Always comply with the law, "said Socialist spokesman Jose Ignacio Gras.

Another initiative defended by the Socialist Group and unanimously approved has been the reference to the Museum of Science and Water and the need to invest in its remodeling and to include improvements that are part of the project Murcia Río.

In addition, the Socialists have succeeded in getting the municipal council to approve an initiative to provide the municipality with air metering stations with municipal ownership that allow greater control of the state of our air and pollution rates that can be harmful to the health of The neighbors and neighbors of the municipality.

The Municipal Socialist Group has decided to leave three motions on the table;

One on scholarships and study aids, another on illegal assignment of workers and a third on invoice management by municipal boards.

In the last two cases, the motive has been to continue working on the texts and to improve the motions.

In the case of the motion on scholarships and grants, the pretension of the PP and Citizens to approve an alternative motion that 'decaffeinated' the socialist initiative, has forced the PSOE Municipal Group has left it on the table to avoid that the initiative was distorted.

Regarding motions in common with other political groups, the PSOE has approved an initiative signed by the whole Corporation to urge the Regional Assembly to support the reform of law that allows the Council of Transparency of the Region of Murcia have powers over the Local authorities and, therefore, to contribute to improve the transparency of the City of Murcia.

Studying a plan to internalize Emuasa's externalized contracts has also been an initiative defended, in this case, by the Socialist Group along with the other opposition groups and which has been approved despite the vote against the PP.

"It is important that the public part of the company regains control of it for the good of all," said Gras.

The motion advocated by the Socialist Group along with the other opposition groups to regulate the spaces and activities of nocturnal leisure in the municipality has also been approved by the Plenary.

Unfortunately, the motion that PSOE, Now Murcia and Cambiemos Murcia have presented to shield the pensions in the Spanish Constitution, has met with the refusal of the PP and Citizens to support it and with an alternative motion with a lax content and insufficient, he has retired.

"We would have liked to be able to carry out such important initiatives as the shielding of pensions or support for Murcian students through scholarships and municipal grants. However, we are satisfied with what has been achieved in terms of transparency, culture and The reservation of municipal contracts for special employment centers and for labor insertion, "concluded the socialist spokesman.
