An agreement will allow tax advisors to submit municipal tax returns of their clients in a telematic way (19/02/2017)

The Governing Board has given approval to the signing of the collaboration agreement with the Guild of Tax, Accounting and Business Advisors of Spain for the telematic presentation of declarations and municipal tax self-assessments on behalf of third parties.

The aforementioned union, which welcomes professionals who work primarily in the field of business advice, both in management and in the accounting and tax aspects, counts among its objectives with providing its members with the necessary training and benefits to offer them A better service to its clients and become interlocutors of the same with the public administrations.

Therefore, through this agreement is going to facilitate that its partners can present, on behalf of third parties, statements and settlements that correspond to the tax area of ​​the City of Murcia.

Currently, the Guild of Tax Advisers, Accountants and Business Management has more than 500 associates in Murcia.

In this way, compliance with the provisions of article 12 of Law 39/2015 of the Common Administrative Procedure of the Public Administrations regarding assistance in the use of electronic means to the interested parties, which states that "Public Administrations must guarantee That interested parties can interact with the Administration through electronic means, for which they will make available the access channels that are necessary as well as the systems and applications that are determined in each case.

Tax payments and resources

In compliance with these regulations, the Municipal Tax Agency, among other actions, has implemented in the Virtual Tax Office a registry of empowerment that will allow the completion of all tax procedures through a representative, such as the filing of self-assessments, declarations, communications , Resources and tax payments, among others.

Among the objectives of the Municipal Tax Agency (AMT) of the City of Murcia for the 2017 financial year are the following:

Assistance to the taxpayer in the fulfillment of his tax obligations.

Administrative simplification in the management of taxes rates and public prices.

Elimination of paperwork and reduction of costs for the citizen and the City.

Transparency and access to information.

In order to meet the objective of administrative simplification, it is particularly important to sign new agreements for the implementation of new assistance services at points of interest to the taxpayer.

With this action the AMT continues with its collaborative trajectory in order to facilitate compliance with tax obligations.

In this sense, it is worth mentioning other collaboration agreements already signed, such as the one signed with the Notary College of Murcia.
