One thousand people will participate in the III Solidarity March in Family organized by several schools of the municipality (15/02/2017)

The event will take place on Sunday, February 26th starting at 10:30 am from Luis Costa School and will arrive at La Arboleda School.

Organized by the AMPAS of the Luis Costa, Fuenteblanca, Nuestra Señora de Belén, Nuestra Señora de Atocha, La Arrixaca and La Arboleda schools, for the benefit of the Vicente Ferrer Association, Soldiers of Ainara and Todo Corazón de Murcia

On Sunday, February 26, more than a thousand people will participate in the III Solidarity Family Cycle Tour, organized by the Associations of Mothers and Parents of Students (AMPAS) of the schools Luis Costa, Fuenteblanca, Nuestra Señora de Belén, Nuestra Lady of Atocha, La Arrixaca and La Arboleda in collaboration with the City of Murcia.

The test, which has the starting point Luis Costa school and arrival at the school La Arboleda, will consist of a pleasant and simple 6 km bike ride, walking, skating or running, suitable for all audiences.

After the march, you will be able to enjoy a Class Master of zumba and a master rollers exhibition.

The little ones can enjoy a children's show by the hand of the animation team 'Activa tu Mundo' and various children's games.

The main objective is to gather as many essential foods (milk, cocoa or sugar) so that the Red Cross of Murcia can give the snack to the children of less favored families of our city.

In addition, anyone who wishes can make a donation of 3 euros that will go to the Association Vicente Ferrer, Soldiers of Ainara and Todo Corazón de Murcia.

The head of Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, Rafael Gómez, who has presented the initiative, stressed that "from the City Council we continue to support these projects to support those who need it most and providing all possible help."

Last year 700 people participated and 2,315 euros were collected to benefit Vicente Ferrer Association.

In the I edition 2,500 kg of non-perishable foods were delivered to Caritas Parroquial de Santiago and Zaraiche (Murcia).
