Next Sunday, February 19, the 4th edition of the race of the Air Base of Alcantarilla is celebrated, an event that the Municipal Board of Sangonera la Seca supports one year in collaboration of the Alcantarilla City Council.
The pedestrian mayor of the Popular Group Catalina Carrillo invites all those who are interested to participate in this act of solidarity.
The itinerary will cover 14 kilometers of the municipality of Alcantarilla and the hamlet of Sangonera la Seca.
In addition, the proceeds will be used for charitable purposes, as in previous editions in which it collaborated with the Segura Food Bank or Astrapace.
The registration period is open until Wednesday 15 at 20.00.
This race has the technical support of the Federation of Athletics of Murcia (FAMU) and has two itineraries: a distance of 5 kilometers and a greater requirement of 14 kilometers.
The latter has the incentive to go through the facilities of the Base, including its runway.
Both tests will have the exit and arrival in the street Mayor Sewer.
Carrillo declares that this race "is a great opportunity to enjoy a unique sporting event because when participating runners will pass through the Air Base that has more than eight decades of continued service to Spain and Murcia, in addition to being able to collaborate with a charitable cause ".
