More than 30 universities will gather in Murcia to participate in the IV UMAR Tournament of Parliamentary Debate (IV National Interuniversity Debate Parliamentary Debate University of Murcia-Regional Assembly of Murcia).
The Tournament will be held on 10 and 11 February at the University of Murcia (Campus de la Merced) and the Moneo Building of the City Council of the capital.
The activity will open on Friday 9 at 1:00 p.m., and the first six rounds will be held at the Faculty of Law and La Merced School (Friday at 13:15, 16:30, 18:30 and 19:30 hours). Saturday at 9:45 and 11:30).
The semifinal and final of novices will be celebrated in the Building Moneo at 16 and 17,30 hours, while the final and the closing ceremony will take place in the Plenary Hall of the City of Murcia at 19 and 20 hours respectively.
All sessions are free and free entry to fill capacity.
The activity is organized by the Debating Club of the University of Murcia and the City Council of the city.
The victory in this tournament, which simulates the British Parliament, will give the university team to get the chance to attend the Parliamentary Champions Cup, to be held in the Regional Assembly of Murcia on 31 March.
