'Moon Bike' offers ten free guided tours from February 11th.

The Council of Urbanism, Environment and Huerta, directed by Antonio Navarro Corchón, through the Office of the Bicycle, offers next Saturday the first guided tour and free of the third edition of the bike routes 'Moon Bike' by the Via Amable 1, from Murcia to Alcantarilla.
The route will have as its starting point and arrival the Glorieta de España and the schedule will be 19:00 hours that will take place the departure, at 21:00 hours the arrival.
The distance will vary between 10 and 15 kilometers, being an easy itinerary so that all interested people of any age can do it.
Without prior registration, the use of the helmet will be mandatory on long-distance routes, and children under 16 years of age must always be accompanied by an adult.
Do not forget all that is essential for our safety: adequate lighting, timbre, light or reflective garments.
Participants who need small adjustments on their bicycles will have help to solve them one hour before the start of the activity and those who do not have a bicycle but wish to participate can request a municipal bicycle on the phone 968200293 giving two days notice.
The itinerary begins in Glorieta de España (in front of the City Hall) and cyclists (of all ages) will walk on the bike path next to the Manterola footbridge.
Once there, you will get on the bike and continue along the bike path next to the river until you reach almost the Hero Factory in Alcantarilla, crossing the river to continue through Puebla de Soto through the orchard until you reach the Raya, where a Short rest
Afterwards, you will continue on a bicycle through the orchard along the Via Amable 1 until you cross the river again to the height of the Inacua Sports Center to get to the bike path and return to the meeting point in Glorieta de España.
Due to the great acceptance of previous editions, only in 2016 participated more than 450 people, this year new routes have been included and ten routes have been organized, one more than in the previous edition, which will be extended until the end of the year.
