The Ministry of Health has contemplated, as of this year, the execution of this project, with an expected budget of 3.5 million euros.
The new equipment will significantly improve the health care of the neighbors of this health area
The project for the construction of the new health center in Algezares has completed a process essential today, once the Governing Board has approved the transfer of ownership of a plot in La Rosaleda in favor of the Autonomous Community.
This agreement is a decisive step for the provision of this sanitary infrastructure that will replace the existing facilities, which have been totally obsolete and insufficient to provide adequate health care for users of this health area.
The plot, located in the street Francisco Moreno Martinez de Algezares, has an area of ​​5,000 square meters.
The contribution of the land and its transfer to the Autonomous Community represents a fundamental action for the hamlet, since it is an investment much demanded by the neighbors, and it ends a complex and cumbersome process that has been prolonged due to the necessity of Several administrative obstacles.
The Ministry of Health, through the Murcian Health Service, has contemplated, as of this year, the project for the construction of this equipment.
The estimated budget is 3.5 M € in different annuities, of which € 200,000 are reserved for the drafting of the project for the current financial year.
