Secondary students experiment in the laboratories of the Faculty of Chemistry of the UMU (03/02/2017)

Colleges and institutes of the Region have had another year to visit the Faculty of Chemistry of the University of Murcia (UMU) and carry out experiments in their laboratories, within the initiative "Experiences of Physics and Chemistry".

For ten years, the Faculty has carried out these Experiences, consisting of simple and attractive experiments under the direction of teachers of the center, in order to arouse curiosity about Chemistry and Physics among Secondary students.

The last day of this edition, the vice-rector of Transfer, Entrepreneurship and Employment and teacher of the center, Francisca Tomás, received the students of the College of San Buenaventura de Murcia and the IES Juan de la Cierva de Totana , which encouraged To study experimental subjects in the UMU.

The vice-rector highlighted the success of this initiative, which records year after year a great demand by institutes and schools and a high degree of satisfaction among the participants.
