The facilities of the City of Murcia are already cardioprotected thanks to the donation of fifty-three defibrillators by the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia, and joins the twenty municipalities that have also benefited from this initiative.

In this case the investment of the FFRM is 350 defibrillators for an amount of 600,000 euros.

This initiative arises thanks to the collaboration agreement between the Football Federation and the Philips company which will benefit about 80,000 athletes.

Jose Ballesta, mayor of Murcia, wanted to express his gratitude to the Football Federation of the Region of Murcia for "the generosity he has had with this City Council with the donation of these fifty-three defibrillators, which added to the already Installed in our sports facilities, cover practically all football fields and pavilions, both the urban center and its districts.

Ballesta also indicated that "fifteen courses are being prepared to train 300 people and it will also be extended to those responsible for the clubs that use these facilities, and schools, where it may also be necessary, through the Department of Sports And Health, as a preventive measure ".

With this delivery, the Football Federation has already donated one hundred and sixty defibrillators already installed in twenty municipalities, such as Bullas, Cartagena, Archena, Lorca, Aguilas, Librilla, Campos del Rio, Fortuna, Abanilla, Torre Pacheco, Bullas, Alcantarilla , Albudeite, Pulpí, Huércal-Overa, Puerto Lumbreras, Blanca and Murcia.
