La Alberca, led by C's, has spent more than 70% of the budget of the hamlet at parties (02/02/2017)

The President of the Municipal Board José Manuel Bernal, of the group of Citizens, violates the regulation of citizen participation

The Popular Party of the Alberca denounces that the Municipal Board, led by Citizens, has spent in parties more than 70% of the budget of the hamlet.

This supposes a total of more than 100,000 euros in festejos, not investing thus necessary for the maintenance and arrangement of facilities that affect the development of the hamlet and its neighbors.

The spokesman of the Popular Group of La Alberca, Francisco Ayuso, denounces the lack of incoherence and argues that "how is it possible that most of the money is spent at parties and that then it is not covered the basic maintenance of the hamlet."

In addition, Ayuso comments that irregularities have been committed in the development of the political activity of the Municipal Board, in breach of the regulations for citizen participation, since the minimum number of plenary sessions required by this document has not been celebrated.

The last plenary session was held on November 10 and the next, is convened today, February 2, so it breaches the rules, which dictates that we must hold plenary sessions every two months.

Likewise, Ayuso denounces the lack of common sense of the president of the Municipal Board José Manuel Bernal, the group of Citizens, since spending much of the money on parties, no needs are met in the hamlet as is the case of the football field .

"On the ground football field they have made a fudge, are trying to hide their poor management by painting the lines of the field, without previously having arranged the same for use," said the spokesman of the Popular Party.
