"We look for innovation and research to be reflected in society" José Luis Mendoza García (26/01/2017)

Entrepreneurs and politicians have gathered at the I Conference of Open Forum of CSR of the UCAM held at the Economic and Social Council of the Region of Murcia

The International Chair of Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) of the Catholic University of Murcia this morning, held in the Hall of Acts of the Economic and Social Council of the Region of Murcia the 'I Conference Corporate Social Responsibility'.

The objective of this act has been the launching of the Open Forum of CSR of the UCAM, being the unique regional initiative in this matter.

It is a space for debate on subjects such as human rights and social innovation, sustainability, corporate social action or corporate diplomacy.

From the UCAM, José Luis Mendoza García, has mentioned that "we always look for the knowledge that is learned, the innovation and the investigation can be reflected in the society in some way. For us it is fundamental to work from this open forum to integrate The UCAM in all social groups, and interact better with them. "

José Luis Mendoza García, president of the Forum and Director of Institutional Relations of the UCAM, participated in the opening ceremony;

Juan Hernández, Minister of Economic Development, Tourism and Employment of the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia;

Signing of agreement with Mutua Universal

After the Conference, a collaboration agreement was signed between the UCAM and Mutua Universal, whose objective is the development of joint training activities in terms of social security benefits in labor contingencies.

Among the concrete actions is the realization of a technical seminar of informative character directed to the students of the university institution and given by personnel of Mutua Universal.

The agreement was signed by José Luis Mendoza, president of UCAM and Eduardo Serrat, Director of Mutual Management, representing Mutua Universal.
