Conchita Ruiz highlights the importance of the program Emploa de Jesús Abandonado for the labor insertion of groups at risk of social exclusion (23/01/2017)

During 2016 a hundred people have participated in the program 'Emplea' aimed at groups at risk or social exclusion.

The program is framed within the area of ​​employment and training, and seeks to promote the social and labor integration of people in situations of social exclusion or risk of being so through the implementation of individual insertion itineraries.

In this way, 51 people have been able to carry out one or several training actions, reaching a total of 491 hours of training given by the social workers of the Jesús Abandonado Foundation.

Among the courses offered in the program are active job search, social skills and / or equal opportunities and sources of funding.

In addition, through various collaborations with different companies and institutions in the Region of Murcia, program participants have been able to expand and make their curriculum more competitive.

The Councilor for Social Rights, Conchita Ruiz Caballero, who delivered the diplomas during an event held at the Cultural Center Las Claras, Cajamurcia Foundation, along with the counselor Family and Equality of Opportunities, Violante Tomás, and José Moreno Espinosa, President of the Jesus Abandoned Foundation, said that the Foundation "is present to achieve full integration in the labor market of this group and the social inclusion of all people in a situation of need."

The 2016 Employee Program is co-financed by the European Social Funds by 80 percent and by 20 percent by the Autonomous Community of the Region of Murcia, through the Instituto Murciano de Acción Social (IMAS). Jesus Abandoned Foundation.

The Foundation annually attends in a comprehensive way more than 3,500 people at risk of exclusion, with the ultimate goal of achieving a full recovery, developing an independent life and returning to feel full citizenship, useful to society.
