The Teatro Romea hosts the national premiere of 'A Fool in a Box' Directed by the actor Murcia Carlos Santos, will be represented on February 25 (20/01/2017)

The actor Murcia Carlos Santos returns to the theatrical direction with 'A fool in a box', produced by the company Bonjourmonamour, which will be premiered on February 25 at the Teatro Romea.

Pedro Segura, Luis Martínez Arasa and Macarena de Rueda are the protagonists of this adaptation of Martin Giner's text that, through comedy, suggests the existence of a society where men are divided into Notables, Big and Small, with the Notables At the apex of the intellectual and economic pyramid.

One of these notables receives by mail a box supposedly sent by the Devil and invites a meeting at his house to a Small and a Large to discover if the magic properties of the box are real.

With much humor and irony, the work will follow these characters during an entire night where only the most cunning will survive.

After premiering in Murcia, the play will be performed at the Teatro Circo de Cartagena, Teatro Quintero in Seville and Teatro Alameda in Málaga.

The tickets, which can already be purchased at the theater box office and on the website www.teatroromea.es, will cost 15, 12 or 10 euros.

This is one of the shows subsidized by the Department of Employment, Tourism and Culture, with a discount of 15% for the following groups:
