The working group for the rehabilitation and social integration of the Polygon of La Paz, chaired by the Councilor for Urbanism, Environment and Huerta, Antonio Navarro Corchón, held its first meeting this morning to establish the methodology of work and set the criteria and Guidelines for the rehabilitation of the neighborhood of La Paz.
The table, which has been constituted by neighbors, professionals in the field of social work, architects, regional administration and municipal groups, has taken stock of the current state of the projects that were planned in the neighborhood.
It is a neighborhood built in the 60s, located in the center of the city of Murcia, in a situation of functional degradation, with houses of small size, located mostly in buildings without a lift that requires a comprehensive rehabilitation intervention.
The Bureau will study possible proposals and alternatives that are considered viable, always based on an economic and financial study.
This process must be carried out from the public initiative and the search for funding will be carried out with the different Administrations.
