North American researchers will hold stays at the UMU with Fulbright scholarships of excellence (18/01/2017)

The University of Murcia (UMU) is going to sign a collaboration agreement with the Fulbright Commission for the establishment of scholarships of excellence and attraction of talent to the educational institution Murcia.

As a first action, three North American professors will stay in the UMU in the areas of Health, Veterinary and Informatics, where they will collaborate with the research groups and teach in different masters.

The project, financed by the Ministry of Education, is part of the internationalization process of the University of Murcia, within the scope of its Campus of International Excellence Mare Nostrum.

Also, next February 8 will be held in Murcia training and informational days for researchers and students on the different options offered by the Fulbright programs.

The participants, chosen for their academic merits, professionals and leadership potential, have the opportunity to study, teach and research, but, above all, to exchange ideas to contribute to finding solutions to global challenges.
