Citizens claim greater police presence in Santa Maria de Gracia after the increase of robberies that suffers the neighborhood (10/01/2017)

The members of the Orange formation in the District Board presented in the Plenum celebrated yesterday a motion of urgency urging the Department of Security to increase the police presence and the frequency of the patrols in the zone

Members of Citizens presented yesterday in the Plenary of the District Council of Santa Maria de Gracia a motion of urgency, to which were added the members of the PP, PSOE and Now Murcia, urging the Department of Security to increase police presence and Frequency of the patrols before the wave of robberies that this neighborhood has experienced during the Christmas holidays.

And is that - according to the president of the orange formation in the District Board, Antonio Albaladejo - the wave of assaults that is suffering the neighborhood, not only in homes already pedestrians, also in commercial lows and educational centers, such as the Institute Infante Juan Manuel, has sown the voice of alarm among neighbors who demand greater security in the area.

"From the District Board we share this neighborhood concern and we join in the demand to improve protection in our neighborhood," said Albaladejo, who added that "we hope that the Department of Security will take appropriate action and, with Of urgency, to guarantee the citizen security in Santa Maria de Gracia ".
