The Council for Youth and Development Cooperation, led by Rebeca Pérez, has launched the Senior Language Club for the first time in the districts of Torreagüera, Santa Cruz, Santo Ángel, Javalí Nuevo and Santiago and Zaraiche, aimed at 100 young people 17 and 30 years who wish to learn English and French.

Thus, the City of Murcia offers 100 places (20 for each hamlet), plus 20 squares of the village of Corvera, forming in this way, 6 groups with a monitor in each of them to impart the practice of these languages.

This proposed expansion "is designed to provide stability and continuity to senior groups, since, until now, classes and leisure activities and free time to practice languages, were taught by volunteers and from now on will be monitors who Carry out this work, "said Rebeca Pérez.

Rebeca Pérez has emphasized that this free activity "makes it possible for the young people of the municipality to develop the ability to speak in other languages, complement the language skills they acquire in their schools and at the same time interested in programs Of European exchange that the City of Murcia develops with financing of the European Union ".

The deadline for submission of applications begins on Wednesday, January 11 and ends on January 19.
