The Department of Development, directed by Roque Ortiz, through Ferrovial Services, has collected a total of 90,236 kilos, between paper and cardboard, on 5, 6 and 7 January.
In order to carry out this special action, for another year, an extraordinary cleaning service was established, consisting of reinforcing the ordinary collection service of paper and cardboard.
It has also been complemented by two pickup routes, which included six additional trucks, and ten operators, who have manually picked up carton and paper from the wrapping of the bulk of the gifts.
The cleaning teams were also reinforced after Reyes' cavalcade where several gangs of workers and various vehicles of Ferrovial Servicios immediately cleaned the streets of the center once the cavalcade had finished.
Last night and this morning 45,640 kilos of paper and cardboard were collected.
The road cleaning workers have also worked on the dismantling and cleaning of Papa Noel's house on Basabe Street.
