The PSOE demands more communication between the government team and the neighbors to avoid misgivings about the start of works on its streets (06/01/2017)

The Municipal Socialist Group calls on the government team to "strive to have a fluid and direct communication with citizens to avoid worries and misgivings about the start of works in its streets," explains Councilor Maite Espinosa, who warns that "many times Machinery and workers enter to work, but the neighbors do not know in detail what is going to be done and even paralyze the works for fear of being harmed or lose accessibility. "

An example of this is the work being done on Rambla de Algezares street, where a wall is being repaired and the neighbors are worried that this work will prevent them from accessing their vehicles as they have done so far.

Espinosa, who visited the hamlet next to the councilman Enrique Ayuso, considers that the work is necessary, but before undertaking it is urgent to inform clearly the neighbors.

In this regard, both councilors value the "great effort of pedanias, who are overwhelmed and have to close their businesses and leave their work aside to care for neighbors who have not been informed of the details of the works in the Doors of their houses ".

Likewise, Espinosa, who is visiting the districts that have suffered different landslides and destruction by the last rains, says that in the municipality there are also many neighbors who are still waiting for the City Council to inform them about the steps to follow to make repairs.

"Days after the rains the people in charge of the PP solidarity with the neighbors and assured them that they were going to get involved in order to get the normality as soon as possible, however, there are families in the municipality whose damages have left unused part of their home and do not know What to do, and that more than two weeks have passed since the approval of the centralized register of the municipality to collect the claims, while the peduna have to pay attention to the City Council, "Espinosa said.

On the other hand, the socialist councilor states that "the damages caused have left dangerous situations for the security of the neighbors in many areas, such as road bumps and landslides in accesses and in homes that must be repaired as soon as possible."
