99 policemen, 20 firefighters, 25 volunteers of Civil Protection and 14 road cleaning workers will guarantee security and cleanliness in the Three Kings' Cavalcade (04/01/2017)

In this edition it will be forbidden that trucks of more than 3,500 kilograms circulate in the perimeter of the Cabalgata de Reyes from 15 hours.

Tranvía de Murcia will reinforce the service with frequencies of 10 minutes for the displacements to the parade and Transportes de Murcia will modify the routes of its urban buses

On the occasion of the traditional Cabalgata de Reyes Magos on Thursday, January 5, a special device has been planned, as in previous years, by the Department of Traffic and Public Safety and Promotion.

A total of 99 police will work this day to ensure the safety of the attendees and allow the normal development of traffic.

In this edition it will be forbidden that trucks of more than 3,500 kilograms circulate around the perimeter of the Cabalgata de Reyes from 3 pm.

In addition, in the avenue San Juan de la Cruz, from where the Cavalcade will start, and in the street Mozart will be prohibited the circulation of all the vehicles from the 15:00 hours.

The Cabalgata will include the following itinerary: St. Juan de la Cruz Avenue, c / Mozart, c / Torre de Romo, c / Sacerdotes Hermanos Cerón, Alameda de Colón, Av. Canalejas, Martínez Tornel Square, Av. Gran Vía Sculptor Salzillo, Avda. Constitución, Circular Square, Gran Vía Alfonso X the Wise and Av. Gutiérrez Mellado.

As in previous years emergency exits and zones of passage will be established in C / Priests Brothers Cerón with Alameda de Colón, González Conde Plaza with Alameda de Colón, Alameda de Colón with C / Hernández del Águila, Martínez Tornel Plaza with Avda.

Flomesta and Plano de San Francisco, Av. Gran Vía Salzillo with C / Santa Catalina direction San Bartolomé, Gran Vía Salzillo Avenue with C / Maestro Alonso, Gran Vía Salzillo Avenue to C / Acisclo Díaz, Fuensanta Square with Av. Jaime I And Jeronimo de Roda, circular square with Gran Vía X el Sabio (pedestrian crossing) and Circular Square in pedestrian crossing of the Plaza to the Gran Vía Alfonso X el Sabio.

To them we have to add two fire trucks and 25 volunteers of Civil Protection who will collaborate in these tasks.

As for street cleaning, after the traditional Cavalcade of Three Kings, there will be a team consisting of 14 workers plus 4 road sweepers and two auxiliary vehicles that after the passage of the parade will leave the city clean immediately.

On the other hand tomorrow, January 5, Tramway of Murcia will reinforce the service with frequencies of 10 minutes for the journeys to the parade, service that will end at 00:02 hours (time of departure of the last tram from stop Nueva Condomina Stadium), passing the last Tram stop at Plaza Circular stop in the direction of Universidades at 00:20 hours and direction Nueva Condomina at 01:00 hours.

Between 17:30 h.

And at 9:30 p.m.

Approximately, the service between the stops Plaza Circular and Juan Carlos I will be interrupted by the passage of the Cavalcade by Circular Square.

Users who wish to continue traveling between these stops must cover on foot the distance between them, without having to acquire a new ticket or to validate the bonus again.

In addition, from 16:00 hours and in Plaza Circular stop, users who wish can purchase the event bonus for 2 euros, enough balance to make the round trip by tram, in addition to get a reloadable Murcia Bonus valued at 1 euros.

The buses will not circulate around the parade area after 15 hours, so Transportes de Murcia will make the following alternative detours:

LINEA C1:

At the end of Avenida Juan Antonio Perea, the bus will take you through the Avda. Ciudad de Almería (Alcantarilla road) to the ascent of the motorway, leaving for the next exit (down to the malecón) and joining your service at Avenida Juan Of the Cierva.

LINE C2:

When leaving Juan de la Cierva Avenue, turn right to take the dual carriageway on the seafront to Cartagena.

You will leave the Alcantarilla exit in the direction of El Rollo, joining Avenida Juan Antonio Perea.

LINEA C5:

Due to the affectation that occurs, this line paralyzes the service during the duration of the cavalcade.

LINE R12:

In the direction of Plaza Castilla, when you cross the bridge of the Hospital, you will travel through Ronda Garay and Rector Lostau to reach Plaza Circular, passing through Primo de Rivera to Plaza Castilla.

In the direction of Ermita del Rosario, I would return by the same route, until crossing of the Reina Sofía, where on Pio Baroja Avenue it will recover its route.

LINE R14:

After the stop at Ronda Norte 3, turn at Diez de Revenga square and cross the street Isaac Albéniz until crossing San Antón, turning towards Plaza San Agustín and joining his service at Doctor Jesús Quesada Sanz street.

After making his way through the Garden of Silk, he leaves again through San Antón to Isaac Albéniz to Plaza Diez de Revenga and return to Plaza Circular.

The service in Gran Vía, Lieutenant Flomesta and C / Correos is deleted.

LINE R17:

Direction to Plaza Circular, after leaving Obispo Frutos, you will travel through Rector Lostau to Plaza Juan XXIII, turning towards Plaza Circular.

When he returns to Renfe, he will do it for Pio Baroja, Pintor Almela Costa, and Pintor Pedro Flores, making the turn in El Rollo to place himself at the head of Plaza Industria.

The service is deleted by Lieutenant Flomesta and Alameda Colón.

LINEA R20:

Once you reach Plaza Circular, you will travel through Ronda Levante to Avda. De la Fama, Intendente Jorge Palacios and Plaza Cruz Roja, to make the turn and return to your usual route.

The tour of Gran Vía and Lieutenant Flomesta is eliminated.

LINEA R80:

In the direction of Plaza Circular, (if you cut C / Correos) when you reach Plaza Cruz Roja, return to Hospital Reina Sofía, and by Ronda Garay and Rector Lostau you reach Plaza Circular, returning to Infante for the same route as Light 17 Crossing the Reina Sofía, where it re-enters the Red Cross and leaves again by Lieutenant Flomesta to Avenida Pio Baroja, where he regains his tour.
