A total of 338,000 m2 of municipal lots, both in the urban area and in the districts, have been cleaned by the City of Murcia, specifically through the Department of Heritage directed by Rafael Gómez, during 2016.
Concretely, in more than 100 municipal lots have been carried out works of cleaning of debris and 650 linear meters have been fenced, located in the districts of El Palmar, San Jose de la Vega, El Puntal, Los Dolores, La Ñora, Los Garres, Santiago and Zaraiche, Algezares, Espinardo and Aljucer, among others, and in the urban center.
Likewise, the Councilor for Education, Relations with Universities and Heritage, Rafael Gómez, visited this morning several municipal land located in the neighborhood of Don Juan Manuel Infante, specifically in the streets Limonar and Riverside de la Vía, to supervise the corresponding work cleaning.
The total surface area is 14,000 m2.
With these works, "the City of Murcia is demonstrating its commitment to the municipality and all its neighbors, so that both the urban center and the districts have adequate health conditions," said Rafa Gómez.
Thus, the Consistory, Gómez Carrasco finished, "continues to fulfill the duty of conservation and maintenance of land, plots and plots, municipal ownership."
