The dance will be the protagonist of the Cavalcade of Kings 2017 (03/01/2017)

For the first time the parade will leave the neighborhood of the Infante extending its route in three streets.

The representatives of the Magi in Murcia will be the chief inspector of the Local Police, Angel Marín;

The head of the Fire Extinguishing Service, Pedro Guirao and the president of the Federation of African Associations of Murcia, Mady Cisse

The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Employment, Jesús Pacheco, presented this morning the Cavalcade of Kings 2017 in which special attention will be given to dance.

In this edition the representatives of the Magi will be the chief inspector of the Local Police, Ángel Marín (Melchor);

The head of the Fire Extinguishing Service, Pedro Guirao (Gaspar) and the president of the Federation of African Associations of Murcia, Mady Cisse (Baltasar).

In this way, the social work developed by the Local Police, Firemen and this federation is recognized.

The star will be the Queen of the children's garden Paula Cánovas.

The day of next Thursday, January 5 will begin with the traditional visit of His Majesties de Oriente to various charitable and welfare centers of the city.

At 10 o'clock will begin, in the Glorieta, a musical entertainment show in which 3,000 raciones de roscón will be distributed.

The reception to the Murcian children by the Magi will begin at 12.30 in the Plenary Hall of the City Hall.

At 6 pm, for the first time, the Three Kings' Parade will leave from the Infante neighborhood, extending its itinerary in three streets, avenue of San Juan de la Cruz, Mozart Street and Torre de Romo, to continue along the traditional route of Paseo Corvera, Alameda de Colón, Plaza Camachos, Plaza Martínez Tornel, Gran Vía Salzillo, Avenida de la Constitución, Plaza Circular, and Alfonso X el Sabio, ending at Avenida Gutiérrez Mellado.

In total, a total of 80 elements will be paraded, accompanying the Magi, in which more than 1,800 people will participate in 13 ballet groups, 7 comparsas and 5 bands of music.

This edition of the Cavalcade will be in which more ballet groups parade in order to give prominence to the dance.

For this, different dance academies of the city have been invited to show the thousands of Murcia and visitors the professional work they do throughout the year.

The academies of Murcia that disinterestedly participate this year in the Cavalcade accompanying the Magi on this magical night are Carmen Romero Ballet, Patricia Alarcón Dance and Music Center, Ascension Rubio Dance Studio, Aerodance Women's Gymnasium, Paferni Studio.

Art on the move, Studio 4 all, Murcia Dance Center, Loly Escribano dance school, Dafne Dance Academy, Concha García Dance Center and Sol López Ballet, to which are added two Ballets from Valencia (Jirafas de Onteniente, and Ángeles).

This year and for the first time a group of 25 volunteers from the City Council will collaborate this day to maintain the order of the Cavalcade.
