The Government Board has approved a collaboration agreement between the City of Murcia, through the Department of Urbanism, Environment and Huerta, and the Cajamurcia Foundation, for the management, information and making available to the public of the documentary material of the Center Of Environmental Education Resources (CREA).

The library of the center has bibliographic resources as well as studies, reports, brochures and other data of interest, which must be properly managed and made available to the public for consultation and dissemination.

The Resource Center pursues among its objectives the location and acquisition of information on environmental education;

The adequate dissemination among the groups interested in accessing the content, paying special attention to schoolchildren and environmental education professionals;

And the organization of meetings and seminars to promote the training of people interested in environmental matters.

In addition, among the aims of the center is to promote and collaborate in the assembly of exhibitions that favor the generation of positive attitudes towards the conservation of nature, fight pollution and promote an adequate use of natural resources and promote awareness activities in the Same subject matter.

For its part, the City of Murcia cedes the dependencies of the library, guarding the resources that are in the CREA, while the Foundation Cajamurcia contributes 5,000 euros for works of attention to the public for consultations of reports and loan of material.
