Based on the simulation, the Global Management Challenge (GMC) annually brings together 40,000 young people from more than 30 countries, with the aim of making their companies the most competitive in the market
Students from the UCAM, through the Technological Institute of Murcia (ITM), are participating for another year in Global Management Challenge (GMC), the largest competition in strategy and business management worldwide based on simulation.
This initiative, which annually has about 40,000 participants from more than 30 countries, allows students, entrepreneurs and professionals to acquire important entrepreneurial skills linked, mainly, to decision making, problem solving and teamwork.
During the development of the competition, which will last until April 2017, teams of between 3 and 5 students are challenged taking the best business decisions, in the struggle to make their company the most competitive in the market.
To do this, they must analyze all the information provided by the simulator, making decisions at the highest management level in areas such as Marketing, Operations, Human Resources or Finance, acting as part of the company's board of directors.
Finally 77 strategic decisions will complete the challenge and the qualifiers will go to the national final of Madrid, where they will opt for a place in the international final, which this year will take place in Doha, Qatar.
