The Councilor for Employment, Tourism and Culture, Jesús Pacheco, has presented the prizes of the ideas contest of the Cátedra de Emprendedores, an initiative launched thanks to the collaboration between the University of Murcia and the Center for Municipal Initiatives (CIM-M ).
The winning project of the first prize, with 1.000 euros, was Dioptis, a project to create a technology-based company, whose activity is based on applications of scientific or technological discoveries generating new products, processes or services, in this case Dioptis Pseudoacomodative Intraocular Lens (IOL).
Of the two prizes, winners of 250 euros, one has been awarded to Im Luthier whose main objective is to cover the need for a workshop of luthería (construction and repair of musical instruments of diverse nature, in this case of wind), in the Region Of Murcia, to be able to carry out a quality work in the repair of wind instruments wood and wind of metal of musicians that belong to varied groupings.
The other project has won the Infoart project: audioguide of museums, a mobile application that makes audioguide for museums in a more interactive and comfortable way for the visitor.
The museum would have Bluetooth transmitters at the points where you want to set the audio guide point.
During the tour, the visitor's mobile phone detects these signals and displays the audioguide point along with a representative image.
In addition to organizing this competition of ideas the Chair of Entrepreneurs has offered information, training and advice to potential entrepreneurs through various actions.
In this way, the entrepreneurial students have participated in some lectures in which staff from the Entrepreneurs 'Chair, external professionals, CIM-M staff and entrepreneurs housed at CIM-M have given them information on different aspects such as' Creativity and generation of ideas Business according to qualifications ',' Identification of the business model, 'Implementation of the business plan' or 'Entrepreneur tools: online presence, effective presentations, teamwork, management skills'.
