A Great Christmas Ball of more than 7 meters high and 80 square meters, installed in the Red Cross Square of Murcia, will fill Murcia with magic and illusion thanks to the 'Recycle Christmas' campaign, launched by the Concejalía de Fomento, directed by Roque Ortiz, and the concessionaire Ferrovial Servicios
Some elves will be in charge of entertaining from today until January 4 to the smaller ones with more than a hundred activities of children's leisure and recycling.
The hours will be from 11 to 14 hours and from 16:30 to 20:30 hours (days 24 and 31 December until 19:00 hours).
This magical city will also house a circuit of ecotourcycles and several inflatables, while awareness about sustainability and recycling will be made thanks to actions such as the decoration of Christmas trees with ornaments made by children from recycling materials such as paper and cardboard In the workshops that will be held in the interior of the Great Christmas Ball.
In these workshops, children will be able to customize their own Christmas ball of paper with drawings and different phrases that collect good intentions to get a better planet like the one of the conservation of our nearest environment thanks to actions like reducing, reusing and recycling different materials And waste.
Children will be able to know and visit the location of their adornments in the Christmas trees that the goblins have installed in the accesses of the municipal buildings of the City of Murcia.
This action fulfills a double objective;
Teach and raise awareness of children in terms of sustainability and make it easier for them to get a first-hand look at the services, facilities and municipal offices of the City of Murcia.
The Reciclamos la Navidad action is part of the program of initiatives of public awareness in the matter of sustainability and environmental care developed by the Department of Development, through Murcia Sustainable City and the concessionaire of the Ferrovial service.
The city of elves will host different activities such as storytelling, circuit of ecotourcycles, puppets, fairytale catwalk and another workshop of ornaments with cardboard and paper for children to take home.
In addition, the little ones will be able to take a photo with Santa Claus or with a Real Page and deposit their Christmas wish list in a real recycling box.

Children visiting the elves in the Chinese Garden of Murcia will be able to deposit their letter in a real recycling box that will be located inside our Great Christmas Ball.

All children will become models for a day through the dynamisation in which the little ones will become protagonists of a Sustainable Christmas Story on a fashion catwalk and to the rhythm of a speaker who will relate live the adventures of the Characters and dialogues between them.
Ecotricycles of the Christmas Elves
Children will be able to ride in the traditional vehicles in which the Christmas elves distribute the gifts and thus travel for free in different tricycles to pedals a circuit of average distance signaled with tires around the Great Christmas Ball.
