A cleaning team, a fire brigade and volunteers of Civil Protection and Youth of the City of Murcia move to Los Alcázares to collaborate in the recovery of the town after the heavy rains. Councilors Roque Ortiz, Lola Sánchez and Rebeca Pérez have main (23/12/2016)

Councilors Roque Ortiz (Fomento, Lola Sánchez (Traffic and Citizen Security) and Rebeca Pérez (Youth and Development Cooperation) met this morning with the Mayor of Los Alcázares, Anastasio Bastida, to offer the collaboration of the City of Murcia in the Tasks of recovery of the locality after the heavy rains.

In this way, a fire brigade consisting of a command, driver and two firefighters moving in a light vehicle and with trailer prepared with all the necessary means to carry out these tasks, has moved to the coastal town for an indefinite period.

To this must be added a group of eight Civil Protection volunteers and 30 Youth volunteers to collaborate in the relief and rehabilitation work

In addition, a team consisting of 4 vats and 4 hydro-cleaners, 4 drivers and 8 specialist peons and two sweepers of high mobility have moved to Los Alcázares to assist in cleaning the municipality, working morning and afternoon.

The councilors have offered to the Mayor Bastida all the necessary collaboration from the City of Murcia so that the locality recovers the normality as soon as possible.
