16 families out of work for the storm have been able to return to their homes (20/12/2016)

16 families from Algezares, Alquerías, Gea and Truyols, El Palmar and Torreagüera who were forced to leave their homes as a result of last Sunday's storm, have already managed to return to their homes.

Specifically, of the 3 families of Algezares, two have already been able to return home, while Social Rights is assessing the situation of the third, since the damages suffered in the housing do not make it possible to return immediately.

Likewise, the evicted families in Alquerías and Gea and Truyols, are already in their houses, as well as the one of El Palmar.

As for the people evicted from Torreagüera, 11 of the families can now return to their homes.

The rest are still pending from the rest of the actions that are necessary to ensure that there is no danger of the rocks being removed that caused the eviction.

In this sense, this morning they held a meeting with Councilors of Urbanism, Security and Social Rights, Antonio Navarro, Lola Sánchez and Conchita Ruiz, respectively with the President of the Municipal Board, Fulgencio Perona, with whom they have studied the situation produced in The hamlet, where almost fifty people were forced to leave their homes as a result of the heavy rains of the weekend.

Finally, the Department of Social Rights has managed the stay of the families of Patiño in different pensions and facilities of social organizations, especially those who have children under their care.
