The Children's Orchestra of the UCAM and the Youth Section Discantus, under the direction of Angel Luis Carrillo, offer tomorrow Tuesday at 20 hours a concert in the Convent of the Anas de Murcia.
In the first part of the show they will perform the songs' Ding dong play endlessly ',' My grandmother on Christmas Eve 'and' Cholito Jesus' and in the second part they will present Christmas carols such as' Noche de Paz 'and' Los peces en el River'.
In the performance, the audience will enjoy the talent of the children of the Children's Orchestra of the UCAM, who come from 11 different schools: Jesús María (Alfonso X, El Palmar), María Maroto, Santa María de la Paz S. Vicente de Paúl (El Palmar), San Juan de Murcia, Isabel Bellvís de Corvera, Arteaga de Sucina, Cierva Peñafiel, IES Miguel de Cervantes, Our Lady of the Arrixaca of Murcia and Juan XXIII.
This Orchestra is made up of 300 students, but tomorrow will only be a small group due to the limitations of space in the church.
On the other hand, the Youth Section Discantus is the intermediate category of the three that exist in the Coral Discantus (Infantile, Juvenil and Junior).
The students in this section are prepared thoroughly with high-level programs and tomorrow will delight the audience with their talent.
The Youth Section of the Discantus was founded in 2001 by Ángel Luis Carrillo to extend the teaching of music to children.
