The PSOE demands a transparent distribution criterion for the economic endowment of the municipal boards (18/12/2016)

The Municipal Socialist Group has submitted a motion to the next plenary to claim the City Council's government team that the economic endowment for the municipal councils is carried out under a transparent distribution criterion, specifically in the sections of 'Current expenditure' and 'Investments' .

For the mayor Enrique Ayuso, "the purpose of this motion is to achieve transparency and efficiency so that not one euro of those destined to municipal boards is lost, but also so that they can carry out a rational planning of the investments that have to be made And so that contributions and suggestions can be received on which expenses are priority. "

"The urgency that imposes the deadline to realize the expenses can lead to invest in matters that are not so necessary or urgent, so that sometimes it can happen that we waste instead of spending with intelligence," added Ayuso.

Therefore, one of the important points of the motion is to require the PP that the amounts not spent by a Municipal Board can be appropriated for the following year.

Thus, according to the socialist councilor, "will also manage to undertake works or investments of greater draft."

According to the text of the motion, the Group considers it essential to revise the rules for the use of the budget of the boards of this City Council to facilitate the use of the budget in its entirety and so that the amounts not spent can be transferred to the following year and Remain available to the same Board.

In addition, the PSOE requests that all political groups represented in each of the boards have knowledge and participation in the distribution of budget items for maintenance and investments.
