The members of the Municipal Board of Infante have filed a joint motion asking the City Council to intercede with CARM to solve, as a matter of urgency, this problem that poses a danger to students, staff and educational staff pedestrians
The members of the District Board of Infante Juan Manuel neighborhood have presented a joint motion asking the City Council to urge the Education Ministry to promote the urgent repair of the exterior fencing of the IES Saavedra Fajardo which is in very poor condition.
Sources of this secondary education center addressed the President of the District Board, Juan José Izquierdo, Citizens, to convey his concern about the situation in which the outside fencing of the institute.
"Although maintenance repairs have been made," they noted, "both the base wall and most pilasters, iron rods and many of the modules need deep repair that is durable and avoids the current risks;
And the educational center, of course, can not carry out these works. "
As reported by the IES, the state in which the gate is found is dangerous.
"The continuous breaks and the fragility of the structure are facilitating the leaks of students, with the consequent physical risk;
As well as the entry of people outside the center, which has already led to theft of electronic material. "
For all this, Izquierdo has once again expressed his concern and asked the Consistory to intercede with CARM to remedy the deficiencies as soon as possible.
"It is necessary to repair soon if we want to prevent any incident that may endanger the safety of the students, the workforce of the center and the pedestrians that circulate in the area," he concluded.
