On Sunday, December 18, the Albatalía-Arboleja Cuadrilla organizes, sponsored by the Municipal Board of La Albatía with the collaboration of the Cultural Center of the hamlet, the traditional meeting of gangs.
This year marks the 23rd edition of this traditional music show at Christmas, in which the Aguadreras Crew (Lorca), Tio Román's Gang (Nerpio) and the Squad of La Albatalía - Arboleja will perform.
At 11.30 a Mass will be sung by the crews in the Parish of the Sagrada Familia and, later, at 12.30 hours, the crews will perform in the Mariano Velázquez Jiménez Garden.
To finish the day, at 14.30 a popular meal will be celebrated.
The objective of this event is to bring to the audience the wide popular culture of the municipality through this meeting that gains popularity year after year thanks to the work done for more than 20 years by Grupo Aljufía.
Throughout this time, the most representative groups of the regions of the region and bordering areas, all of them faithful conservatives and exponents of the rich folklore of their places of origin, have passed through the Albatalía.
