The International Innocent III International Chair of the Pontifical Lateran University of Rome, through the Utriusque Iuris Institute and the Catholic University of Murcia, will hold the International Congress 'Justice, mercy and justice' from 13 to 16 December And law ').
In its second edition, the reflection of the experts will start at the close of the year of Mercy to review the historical evolution of the concept of law and justice, focusing on the need to combine the three elements to ensure the possibility of reinsertion of the offender and the Full restoration of justice.
The event, which will be held at UCAM's Los Jerónimos Campus, through plenary lectures and research sessions, will be attended by more than 70 national and international experts, such as Bernard Aurdura, president of the Pontifical Committee of Historical Sciences;
Michele Riondino, of the Pontifical Lateran University;
Francisco Cuena Boy, University of Cantabria, Mauricio Dimant, Hebrew University of Jerusalem, among others.
In the opening ceremony will be present the president of the Institute Utriusque Iuris of the Lateran University, Manuel J. Arroba Conde;
Bernard Aurdura, president of the Pontifical Committee of Historical Sciences, and José Luis Mendoza Pérez, president of the Catholic University of Murcia, and the closing ceremony will be made by the Professor of History of Law and president of the Royal Academy of Jurisprudence and Legislation, the Professor José Antonio Escudero
