Change requires that the 2017 Budgets include budgetary appropriation for approved motions (09/12/2016)

Sergio Ramos, councilman of Cambiemos Murcia, today demanded the Government Team that the draft budgets of 2017 include budgetary provision for all the motions approved by the Town Hall Plenary.

As he explained, "not including those items would be assumed that they will not be met and this would delegitimize the Plenary which, we remember, is the body representing all residents of the municipality of Murcia."

For the municipalist formation, it does not make sense that the opposition has to present amendments so that their proposals can move forward, since, once approved, a motion belongs to the Plenary, regardless of what the Popular Party has voted.

"Although most are not a big economic expense, but a matter of political will," continued the mayor, the largest proposals should even have a multi-year budget.

Among the motions presented by Cambiemos Murcia that would need a budget allocation are, for example, those related to the conservation of the garden, such as the cleaning of greenways, or the provision of a specific item for equality policies .

"In these months the PP will have to present the draft budgets and we hope that when it does, both these items and those related to the requests of the municipal boards," concluded Ramos.
